@Chinni We are continuing to lift her up in prayer. Where the doctors can go further, the Lord we serve is able to go. His promises are yes and amen. Do not loose hope, as the complications came suddenly so they will disappear suddenly in Jesus name.

So true! There are times you meet a ‘Christian’ or someone who claims to be one, their attitude puts you off and you don’t want to hear what they have to say. We must maintain good manners and speak with kindness and respect to others. Like Paul would say, ‘ do not push your way with others, be okay with second place if that’s what it will take to reach another person.’

It is important to be and stay where God called you. When you move from your place of assignment, destiny and purpose, you cease to please God and grace is withheld from you.

Totally true @Michael we all need a solitary place to get away from distractions and focus on God. You have to b creative about this. Sometimes I just drive away and listen to music and Bible or audio book while praying. There are so many ways we can find solitude if we desire it.

@michael Yes. It was you that expounded that scripture in one of our word conference during our campus days. It stuck with me this long.

I remember my early days in Christ. The zeal was almost uncontrollable, I could stand anywhere and preach the gospel, in a bus, classroom or even on the market square. I wonder how to keep this passion and love like it was the first time. Any thoughts?

So, reward is not based on one-time victory but on continued steadfastness and faithfulness?.

We are definitely not alone. I want to be more conscious of heavenly help and angelic assistance. I’ve had profound moments when I know that it can only be by a divine and supernatural assistance that i was able to get through some stuffs.

Patience and steadfastness are virtues we must develop as Christians. We are often in a rush and we expect God to follow our timing and calendar but he sends help in His time. Let us learn to stay fast on Him and keep our hopes on Him for in due season our reward will come.

Today’s devotional ties into @Michael post on faithfulness last week. We are to remain faithful at all times and watch as He comes through for us. In the same spirit of faith, we claim healing for @Chinni mom.

It is interesting to note that Paul said commit these only to faithful men who are able to teach others. Discipleship requires a sense of responsibility. Often, people just want to hear without any intention to be stewards of what is being committed to them. No wonder Jesus will separate his core disciples from the crowd and begin to teach them kingdom principles not available to everyone else. Jesus said “to whom much is given, much is required.” May the Lord give us the capacity to be trustworthy and faithful disciples.

As ministers of God’s Kingdom, we must learn to treat those whom we are ministering to with love, care and respect. Sometimes, people act in ways that are below our expectation but we must be gentle and slow to speak harsh words. Correction must be done in love and tenderness. #TLC?

Haha…God’s word makes sense in our everyday living. You sometimes wonder why Jesus said some of the cool things he said and then you look at your life and you realize, oh! that makes sense. He said “none of us can add one minute to our lives by worrying.” So true!
