This devotional gave me a new perspective on what it means to be long suffering. It means it’s ok to not be quick to act when you are angry and are filled with negative emotions even when they are legitimate. God is long suffering and He seats out His anger.

@Marlinchabely Thank you for posting this. I absolutely join faith with you to pray for God’s peace to reign in the hearts of everyone going through depression, fear an anxiety. And even those dealing with suicide thoughts, for them to be delivered from the clutches death in Jesus name.

Good quickens the dead
! Last week, I shared the same scripture with @Marlinchabely . Faith is not denial of facts, but it is denying facts the capacity to control your outcomes. Just as Abraham acknowledged the fact that his body was as good as dead and the fact that Sarah’s womb was dead, he did not let it stop him instead he gave glory to God who quickens the dead. Whatever circumstance you are in now, don’t let it put you under but let it be a reason to call unto God for supernatural assistance.

This devotional reminds us that one of the things that define us as Christians is persecution and hardship. Today, we are privileged to leave in a time when Christianity is widely accepted and we must not take that for granted. But at the same time, we must not become complacent and only looking for what is convenient. We must learn to endure discomfort for the sake of Christ.

@purposefaith Yes, this was the scripture that gave me the inspiration for the app CandLite Factory. Every knowledge that God reveals to each of us as we spend time with him can be considered God-breathed – theopneustos.

Dear family, it is with heavy heart to let you know that Vidya’s mom had a sudden heart attack in the midst of her recovery and passed away today. Please let’s pray for Vidya and her family. May the Lord, strengthen them and console them through this great loss. Her mom was the pillar of the family and Vidya is so fond of her. She will need a supernatural strength from God to get through this. Please send her a private message of condolence.

Spoke to @Chinni . Her mom made it beyond the date the doctors said she will die. Let’s continue to pray for her full recovery. She is getting better from many other complications but now we need to pray for total cleansing of her blood from infections and her lungs to kick back up.

Let’s continue to pray for @Chinni ’s mom. Lord we ask that you stretch forth your hands and heal her. We pray for financial provision for the medical bills. And we also pray for the rest of the family that you give them peace and faith to ensure this season.

@Chris So true, God moves when we agree. It is in his nature to do so and He will not honor disorderliness and division. The trinity is held together by the power of agreement and He will not permit anything less for His children.

@Michael I agree! Our faith is so cluttered with doing, serving and participating in one thing or the other that we hardly remember that the reason He saved us is so we can be with Him in fellowship. Lord, help us to know you more.

Awesome Feng. Glad to know that it blessed you. Just now I was discussing with Marlin in my living room how that we need to rise up as partners and co-laborers with God to steward His purpose for our lives. We must strike a good balance between corporate and personal responsibility.
