It’s ingrained in our stories of the “hero” archetype.🦸🏻♂️ The hero that would lay down his life for his fellow man. But what about a hero who would lay down his life for his enemy. 🤔
That is exactly what Jesus Christ did. He came down and received the punishment in our place for our sins. How would you react to someone giving their life for you?

I will forever be grateful and mindful of the sacrifice they made for me. Our first responders, police officers and soldiers are doing that everyday and it’s almost impossible to wrap your head around why they do what they do to keep those of us who are civilians safe. So, someone is already risking their lives on our behalf as we speak.
Jesus paid the ultimate price for our salvation and we must live with gratitude for His underserved grace and mercy towards us 😊.
