1) For me, i will say just being too distracted by responsibilities, cares of the world and by personal deadlines i set for myself. All of these can get me distracted and lose track of time and priorities. But from this week’s reading, i got reminded that being with God shouldn’t be a task that i want to tick off, but its the source of my strength and it helps me handle every other things. Like Daniel, no matter the pressure that were around him, He actually had his time with God. I have started being intentional at challenging myself to make space with God even when faced with so many distractions
2) One thing i do every day is my quiet time with God every morning, praying, reading scriptures before even diving into the day’s activities. Now, i make conscious effort to just pause anytime in the day, even for a few minutes and just pray, reflect or just simply being still before God.
I’m really grateful for this week’s lesson, Just reminding me of making pauses when overwhelmed or distracted and spend that time with God. Thanks alot Stephanie, God bless you real good for this.1
