I also resonate with this discussion @purposefaith because, for the most part, hidden behind our outward look can be disappointments and anxieties. But we must all learn to trust the Lord and cast our anxieties on Him for He truly cares.

In my personal experience, I spent a lot of the time during a betrayal blaming myself and thinking I could have prevented it but that wasn’t helpful at all. It has happened and the only way forward is to accept what has happened and find a constructive way to build back better like you mentioned.

If I knew better back then, I would have focused on internal healing first rather than resolution. It’s when we are healed that we can heal others.

And it was comforting to know that Jesus went through the same thing so it is not about your imperfection because it would have happened if you were the most perfect person on earth.

So, the prayer should be “Lord, help me to change the things I can change and accept the things I cannot change.”

@purposefaith It’s quite fascinating that life is without meaning if we do not have a vision. It is equally intriguing to hear that in the medical field, as @michael mentioned, that people can have suicidal tendencies just because they are hopeless.

Dreaming with God is a mandatory practice and lifestyle that we all must embrace as God’s children. The scriptures you quoted capture it very well. One scripture I will like to throw in there is Proverbs 29:18, which says, “where there is no vision, the people perish.”

The only reason to get up in the morning is because there is a hope. The hope of our calling in Christ is even more important, because without a promised future redemption from our Lord, life will be hopeless.

Thanks @michael for this exhortation. We are truly kings and priests to our God becuase He has made us so. As a king, in this kingdom, my role is show forth the glory of God by living according to His standards. To fill my mind with His word and carry His thoughts and act out His character.

I am called to create like He did and speak words of power because as the Bible says, “where the king’s word is, there’s power.”

As a priest, I consecrate myself to the fullest measure to seek His divine presence and to grant heaven the passage way to anoint my relight as a king. So, it’s a two-prong fork. We get to reign as kings and pray as priests. 🤴

Repentance is a change of mind not a feeling or emotion. Every day that we look into the mirror of God’s word, we are transformed – we practice repentance.

@btchanque The message should be about Christ and salvation. Also, the life of the preacher is equally a testimony. We must not only preach good messages that center on Christ, our integrity and lifestyle are the validation of the message we share with others.

@feng Yes this speaks to were we all are in the season. We must make the conscious effort to refuse to be conformed to this world and instead be transformed by the renewing or refocusing of our mind to the things of the kingdom of God.
