This speaks to me deeply. We think about this scripture to mean find your life in the after life but here we see it can applied to our every day life here in earth. We need to release our old ways and mentality and we will find creative ways of doing and being. 😎

I personally look at the word of God to keep my peace and happiness. As I read His word, I am reminded of His goodness, plans and purposes for my life and that gets me excited about my future. For me, true happiness is a product of walking in the Spirit. By that I mean, as we yield ourselves and make fellowship with a priority, we are happier but if we go on without Him we find that our lives becomes sadder.

@michael great points you noted in this discussion. I think that the point about staying in your place if assignment until you hone your skills is crucial. I was reading this week about too many soccer athletics who left their club prematurely because of large offers made to them by other clubs and they ended up becoming total failures because they made the leap prematurely.

This is where patience comes in. That a road is unfurling before you doesn’t mean you should go. But we must all learn to hear the voice of God and seek his counsel in every pivotal moment of our lives. And the truth is that, it can be very tricky hence the need for divine counsel and submission to coaches or mentors that God has placed around us. Their voices will matter in such moments. Do you have accountability people in your life?

Thank you all for sharing your thoughts here. The gospel spread and is still being spread through the personal ministry of ordinary believers like we all as they share their testimony and the good news of Christ with their social network.

At some point, it seemed as though the sharing of gospel was for some trained ministers or full time ministers but God is calling us back to the place of personal evangelism through our lives. So, let’s keep that in mind at all times. @sandrine your strategy is the perfect example of how God wants us to share the Gospel with others 😎

In my experience of developing ideas that God places in my heart, I think that a lot of people stop short of fulfilling their God-given ideas because of fear. Fear that they are inadequate to dare to change the world. I always trust the Lord to not only give me ideas but to also grant me the boldness to work it out.

In the book of Acts, the apostles of Jesus carried a great seed of divine purpose but they specifically requested the church to pray for them so the Lord will give them the boldness to act, speak and be.

I pray for the spirit of boldness for the lord has not given us the spirit of fear but the spirit of power, love and a sound mind.

Wonderful thoughts you shared here @michael just as the apostle Paul wrote to Timothy that we have not received the Spirit of fear but of power, love and a sound mind (2 Tim. 1:7). As kingdom citizens, we are to bear the world up and lead in the frontiers of innovation through the excellent Spirit we have received from God. Success is not chance, it is a product of consistent application of one’s self to his purpose, passion and vision from God.

Always propose excellent things and be honest, and leave the event to God. Paul puts it this way in 1 cor. 3:6-8, I, Paul, planted, Apollos wanted but God gave the increase. Someone has to plant and the planted seed or idea must be cared for and watered and then God provides the increase. So, do what you must, follow godly principles as well the natural laws of success and increase but in the end, trust on God for the increase.

I like your definition of boldness. It’s not arrogance but vulnerability and total frankness with God 😊

Yes @feng the Lord wants us to trust Him in all things and at all times even when it doesn’t make sense. Like I have always told you, “don’t process the feeling or the thought.” 😊
