Church is the government of the kingdom. From what Rick said, the church is similar to our present day senate. They are elected and given power and authority to make decisions that will influence the rest of the country. Likewise, the church is called out, elected by God to exercise authority over the earth and the culture. We make the law and the policies that govern culture through the word of God. Today’s devotional is eye-opening.

Consistency is they key to a powerful prayer and devotional life. God respects history. When we come into His presence, our history with Him in prayer gives us an edge. When you are consistent, your spirit becomes filled with faith and the power of the Holy Ghost just like you one becomes physically fit over time by exercising consistently. For me, I strive to get my devotion in to my daily plans before anything else starts. You just have to find what works for you and stick to it. It’s all about the discipline and consistency- PIETY. Nowadays, Christians don’t know or talk about the word “piety.” We ought to be Pious Christians.

I love this event in the Bible. It’s one of my favorites. People are designed to grope or feel after God but it is our duty to help them find Him. This is why we must share the good news of the gospel to the world.

I like the way you put it in words, ‘Partnering with God in Creativity.’ God is the God of creativity and and everything He touches or does is made new and fresh. I am encouraged to see how we all came together and united around a common vision and purpose to build this platform. It goes to show that God is not just the god of Sunday but the Lord of our lives. Everything we do, all that we are can be used to serve Him and bring glory to His name. Looking forward to seeing the incredible ideas that God will be birthing through each one of us in the near future.

I have experienced this first hand. Sometimes, I look back at some things I have done in the past and I say to myself, “where did I get the energy and passion to do that?” Grace is always made available for the task at hand and we must not let it be in vain.

@michael This week’s discussion excerpt is succinct. I completely resonate with what you are saying. I am also encouraged to know that I am not alone in this as a leader. There are multiple times I have felt abandoned, rejected and as though I am a failure.
And like you, God has spoken so many great things to me while growing up but then there are times I felt like I failed. When I read the story of Paul, I realized that we are all dealing with a God who is bigger in His ways and thoughts that ours. So, I am encouraged to trust Him because that is the only way to make it to the finish line.
    Thanks for sharing🔥

It unveils another perspective of baptism. I used to think of baptism only in terms of the dipping but this clearly shows that baptism is much more than that. There is the permeation of the life of God into our lives as we get immersed into the life of Christ.

Prayer is about seeing. It’s the most creative moment a believer can experience because there the Holy Spirit broods on our hearts and minds and elevates our thoughts to see the innovations or patterns in heaven so that we might recreate them here on earth.
