    Christianity is a vital and active relationship between Christ and His saints. We must ensure that the vitality of that relationship is always real-time through daily communion and fellowship with Him by the Holy Spirit.

    I totally agree! We need to put on the mind of Christ in place of our worldly and canal mindset.

    This is a classic example of religion. Many a Christian are praying to God to help them change their attitudes and behaviors but all the while it’s our responsibility to respond to what God has already done and simply put off the old man and it’s ways of thinking by renewing our mind with the word of God. There is a choice that one has to make.

    This is a constant struggle that we have to deal with on a daily basis. When we are alone with God or in prayer and worship, we see the best that is in us but as soon as we step out and begin interacting with others, the enemy would seek to distort our picture in our minds about who we are. But as the apostle stated in James 1:25;

    “But whoever looks intently into the perfect law that gives freedom, and continues in it—not forgetting what they have heard, but doing it—they will be blessed in what they do.”
    ‭‭James‬ ‭1:25‬ ‭NIV‬‬

    We must persevere to continue to look, that’s to remember what we have seen in the mirror of God’s word. I am encouraged by this because everyday the enemy keeps bombarding our minds with images of failure and fear of the unknown. Let’s rise up be who we are called to be.

    Thanks @purposefaith. I like the point out also that the above scripture mentions that the fruit is as a result of walking in the Spirit. That’s to say, when you walk in the Spirit you will produce this fruits or result in your life. The fruits abides in us in seed form when we are in dwelled by the Holy Spirit but as we learn to walk in Him and submit to the Holy Spirit’s influence in our lives, we begin to the manifestation of God’s character and nature in us. So, like you mentioned @purposefaith, we have a part to play which is to submit our will to Him.

    God rewards those that ‘diligently’ seek Him not just those that seek Him. Wondering what could that mean? 🤔

    This scripture is the core of our mandate. The message of the Kingdom will be preached to all the ‘civilized’ world as we know it then the end will come. I encourage everyone to take a moment to study this verse of scripture because there is a lot to take from it.

    We are glad @feng that you are finding purpose in your daily living. Life will always place a demand on us that requires our focus. But we must learn to remain steadfast in our Christian duties in the midst of the demands that pull on us frequently.

    You are so right. You know the Bible says that we must not despise humble beginnings and that can be attributed to what you said that we should not feel indifferent about the thoughts that come to us. I have always told people around me that most of their daydreams is God trying to get their attention. If you can track those thoughts further in prayer, you will see the full picture and God will communicate to you His intentions, plans and purposes. Thanks for your thoughtful response.

    Almost everything God calls us into requires supernatural enablement to carry out. I pray that we all learn to rely on Him for the force of completion.

    Yes I think so too. The essence of Christianity is to reach people with love of Christ and that calls for treating people with dignity and respect regardless of who they are, what they believe at the moment. @becca-r I agree with you that we are to garnish our communications with grace and love as we try to reason with people.

    @marlin It’s good to hear from you. Yes it’s an encouraging one and yes, looks can be deceiving. In 2 Cor. 5:16, Paul reiterates this when he said ‘regard no one from the outward point of view.’
