  The Beautiful Life That God Gives.

  Hello Family,

  Hope you are in good health?

  As we go into the week, here is a gentle reminder of the beautiful life we are meant to experience as Kingdom citizens.

  Read Carefully and meditate on these words. Don’t treat them with familiarity. Treat them as treasures for indeed they are treasures that contain the essence of Christ.

  Galatians 5:22-23

  MESSAGE BIBLE

  [22-23a] But what happens when we live God’s way? He brings gifts into our lives, much the same way that fruit appears in an orchard—things like affection for others, exuberance about life, serenity.

  We develop a willingness to stick with things, a sense of compassion in the heart, and a conviction that a basic holiness permeates things and people.

  We find ourselves involved in loyal commitments, not needing to force our way in life, able to marshal and direct our energies wisely.

  AMPLIFIED BIBLE

  [22] But the fruit of the Spirit [the result of His presence within us] is love [unselfish concern for others], joy, [inner] peace, patience [not the ability to wait, but how we act while waiting], kindness, goodness, faithfulness,

  [23] gentleness, self-control. Against such things there is no law.

  EASY English Translation.

  [22] But God’s Spirit causes us to live in a different way. We love other people. We are happy and we have peace in our minds. We are patient, kind and good. People can trust us to do what is right.

  [23] We respect other people and we control ourselves properly. God’s Spirit helps us to live in that way. There is no law that says these things are wrong.
