September 22: Proclaim the Good News
In a world that preaches self-sufficiency and independence, the Kingdom principle of proclaiming the good news stands in stark contrast. While the world values autonomy and individual achievement, God calls us to go out and share the message of salvation with boldness and love. Mark 16:15 (ESV) urges us to go and proclaim the gospel to all creation, embodying the selfless love of Christ as we do so. Our task is not to please ourselves or gain recognition but to obediently carry out the work of spreading the good news.As we reflect on the call to proclaim the good news, let us remember that this task is not burdensome but a privilege and a joy.
