September 21: Seek First the Kingdom
In a world that clamors for our attention with its fleeting demands and temporary treasures, Jesus calls us to a radical reordering of our priorities. Our primary pursuit, as citizens of the Kingdom, is to seek first God’s reign and righteousness. This means placing God at the center of our lives, above all else. It’s an invitation to trust in His provision and care, knowing that as we seek Him first, everything else will fall into place.The world tells us to prioritize earthly success, material wealth, and personal ambitions. But Jesus, in Matthew 6:33, challenges us to seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, promising that all these things will be added to us. When we align our hearts with His Kingdom agenda, we discover a life of true abundance and purpose beyond what the world can offer.
