September 08: Serve with Freedom
In the Kingdom of God, service is not a burden but a blessing bestowed upon us by Christ’s love. While the world often sees service as a chore or duty, in God’s economy, it is a joyful expression of our freedom in Him. When we serve others out of love and obedience to Christ, we experience the true essence of freedom. Galatians 5:13 exhorts us, “For you were called to freedom, brothers. Only do not use your freedom as an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another” (ESV).Contrary to the world’s mindset which equates freedom with self-indulgence and personal gain, the Kingdom principle teaches us that true freedom is found in selfless service to others.
