June 29: Daily Worship of the King

In a world that exalts self-sufficiency and independence, the kingdom principle of daily worship of the King stands in stark contrast. While the world urges us to rely on our own strength and wisdom, Scripture calls us to bow in reverence and joy before the King of Kings, acknowledging His sovereign power over all. Psalm 95:6 reminds us, “Oh come, let us worship and bow down; let us kneel before the Lord, our Maker.” When we embrace a lifestyle of daily worship, we position ourselves to receive His guidance, peace, and strength. The world may tempt us to prioritize our schedules, desires, and achievements above all else, but the Word of God beckons us to prioritize the worship of our King. Just as Mary chose the “good portion” by sitting at the feet of Jesus in worship instead of being distracted by many tasks (Luke 10:42), we too can cultivate a heart that seeks the Lord’s presence above all else.
