July 07: Seek First the Kingdom

The world urges us to chase after success, wealth, and fleeting pleasures, promising that these will bring fulfillment. However, Jesus provides a counter-cultural command—to seek first the Kingdom of God above everything else. In embracing this kingdom principle, we align our desires, plans, and pursuits with God’s eternal purposes.The world teaches us to prioritize our own desires and ambitions, seeking personal gain above all. Yet, Jesus redirects our focus to seek God’s Kingdom and His righteousness first and foremost. This shift challenges us to trust that as we seek God wholeheartedly, He will provide for all our needs.
