“Therefore the Lord Himself will give you a sign: Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a Son, and shall call His name Immanuel.” — Isaiah 7:14
Christmas reminds us that God is a promise-keeper. Long before the manger, God had already spoken through the Prophets. Prophecy was not poetry, it was destiny written in advance. When God promised a Saviour, history began to move in that direction, even when people could not yet see it. Delay never cancels divine intent; it only prepares the ground for fulfilment.
As we draw closer to Christmas, we are reminded that our faith rests not on sentiment, but on certainty. We have not followed cunningly devised fables. If God kept His word to Israel, He will keep His word to you. What He has spoken over your life will come to pass not because of time, but because of His faithfulness.
Prayer:
Faithful God, I declare that every promise You have spoken over my life shall be fulfilled. I choose to trust Your timing and rest in Your word. Just as Christ came in the fullness of time, so I believe my season of fulfilment is at hand. Amen.
