This morning I woke with a very clear dream which I believe the Lord was instructing me on the plans for 2021. I was grappling with the meaning and today’s devotional just lined up perfectly with the message I believe the Lord was showing me in my dream. What a confirmation! 🔥

I’ve been thinking about the ministry of Luke’ and the role he played being that he was a doctor; and a follower of Christ at the same time, do you have any insight on this ?

I believe as a doctor he possessed the skills to pen down the history and events of Jesus’s life. And as a doctor, the Book Luke was written with the theme on Jesus’ healing ministry. Luke portrays Jesus as the healer more than the other gospels.

I think your profession colurs a lot of your perspective in life. Like Pst Phil said, Luke’s gospel says a lot about the healing ministry of Jesus. What is amazing is how he could relate to it being a doctor. Yes! I agree with you! I miss the Christmas carols of my childhood -where Jesus Christ was the center; heart warming songs like silent night , Felix Na Vidad, three wise men , Drama / plays in church about the Jesus born in Bethlehem.
Santa Claus only came after; the main focus was the birth and celebration of Christ.. my heart used fo be full of joy ..
