Yes Rick, Paul’s prophecy is gradually being fulfilled as the pulpit has become a stage rather than an alter for many churches. Motivational speakers, teachers of incorrect doctrine and those hyping church-goers excessively to pursue materials things etc. May the Lord help us to discern sound doctrine.

@maureen That’s a very smart way of ensuring consistent devotion on a daily basis. A lot of people make excuses why they can’t spend time with God and how their daily responsibilities keep them from finding time to be quite and commune with God.
