Growing up in the Roman Catholic church, one of the good things I learnt was to reverence the house of God, especially the altar which I think was a good way to imbibe a reverence for the things of God. I find when we treat God’s things with respect, it also translates into the way we order our lives. It is also an exercise in godliness.

Yes church is a place to be respected and honored. We must conduct ourselves and our children in a respectful manner when in church because it’s the house of God and also a public place.
