Thanks Nia. This reminds me that we must treat each person God brings our way uniquely. I think of it in the area of discipleship. We tend to lump every believer into the same basket using the same method of discipleship and this can lead to a disconnect and we wonder why people don’t persevere through their process of spiritual development. Just as we saw in one of the daily Devotionals this week, Jesus met Peter multiples times before calling him to follow Him. He knew people was uniquely different and can’t be reached the same way his brother, Andrew, was reached. In our families, every kid is different and must be related with and given the opportunity to explore who they are and what they really care about. I will definitely be applying this both in ministry, family and my business.

Thanks @michael for this instructive post. The scripture you read is one of the verses that caught my attention while growing up in the Lord back in the day but as I made my way through the journey of faith, the reality I saw in the Christian setting was totally different. Although some churches have tried to operate this way, either through small groups, house fellowships etc but more needs to be done to redirect the church to Christ’s original intention for kingdom service and maturity. Our human ego likes the spotlight which is why pulpit ministry has become synonymous with Christian fellowship and believers are ok with it because it takes the responsibility of growth from them and places it on one man. But let’s continue to pray and persevere through this global movement we are pioneering that God will begin an awakening of our society to to true kingdom culture.

Jesus promised us divine healing and divine health. Has anyone realized that the inspiration for the medical symbol ⚕️is from Moses’ act of hanging a serpent to a pole that healed anyone that looked upon it who was beaten by the snake in the wilderness. Jesus also said that just like Moses’ miracle that He would be hung on the pole for a healing to the nations. Although they claim it is the staff of Zeus. 😇

Wow @michael, this is wonderful. You made some salient points here that will take time to digest. I was stirred up by the statement “Your eyes cannot see what your minds doe not know.” There is no better way to put this – we must seek to expose our minds to knowledge, starting with divine knowledge given by the Holy Spirit.
The Holy Spirit grants us new perspectives so we are able to see the new out of the old. We are able to the hidden treasure (Isaiah 45:2-25). This was exactly what Jesus first announced to the Jews when he started preaching to them. “Repent” in other words, gain a new mindset and you will see the innovation, the kingdom and the new. I can go on and on because this is so good and thoughtful. -

@purposefaith It’s interesting how that one moment you think you have understood a verse and the next moment a new perspective is thrown at you and the learning resumes. Never considered this verse in this light💡. Good word!

Great testimonies and very thoughtful response. Yes, it’s about service, humidity, love and respect for the gift of others. Jesus said, the greatest among you must or should be the servant. So, in the kingdom leadership is about serving others with the greatness that is invested in us by God.
