As we journey with God, there are moments when the past seems to pursue us, much like Pharaoh’s chariots closing in on the newly liberated Israelites (Exodus 14:5–6). God’s people, having just tasted freedom, found themselves cornered by the Red Sea as their old oppressors bore down upon them. It’s a scene that mirrors our own… -

Pastoral Care started the discussion April 29: God’s Hidden Strategy
**Devotional Thought:**
In life's journey, we often find ourselves at crossroads, bewildered by paths that seem less than strategic according to worldly standards. Yet in Exodus 14:4, we see an inspiring revelation about God’s hidden strategy: "And I will harden Pharaoh’s heart, and he will pursue them, but I will gain glory for myself through Pharaoh and all his army, and the Egyptians will know that I am the Lord." Here, God intentionally leads the Israelites into what seems like a trap—a sea on one side, a pursuing army on the other—only to display His miraculous power and sovereignty.Worldly wisdom espouses forward motion with clear, logical steps. God’s kingdom, however, is where He uses paradoxes to bring about His expertly crafted plans. The Red Sea moment was one of ultimate exposure and hopelessness, but it became the canvas for God’s display of deliverance. So it is in our lives that the seemingly chaotic turns and the paths that make no sense might just be God positioning us to witness His unparalleled glory.
In times of uncertainty and confusion, let us lean not on our understanding but acknowledge Him, allowing Him to make our paths straight (Proverbs 3:5-6). Trusting God includes recognizing that His strategies transcend human logic, for it is through the unexpected turns that He reveals both His power and His profound love that works for our good. in the forum Kingdom Living Daily a week ago

Reflection: God establishes our steps with intention. His paths may not always align with our expectations, but they are always for our benefit and His glory. We must find delight in His way,… -

Pharaoh gazed at the Israelites encamped by the sea, convinced they were ensnared by the wilderness. His heart swelled with overconfidence as he declared, “They are wandering in the land; the wilderness has shut them in” — Exodus 14:3 (ESV). To man’s eyes, it appeared as a trap, a mistake, an unavoidable defeat. Yet, beneath the surface of… - Load More
