      Testimony Tuesday

“Every believer has walked through a season where prayer felt heavy… where the words wouldn’t come easily… where the fire felt dim.
But the beautiful thing about God is this: He knows how to breathe life back into us.

Today’s testimony, “How I Found Strength to Pray Again,” by Maria is a reminder that God doesn’t just restore our voice, He restores our desire to seek Him.

As you read, let it speak to the places in you that need refreshing.

How I Found Strength to Pray Again.

There was a season when my prayer life quietly dried up. It didn’t happen overnight — it was a slow fade. Life got heavy, burnout set in, anxiety increased, and without realizing it, prayer became something I avoided.

I wasn’t really surrendering to God, I was only informing Him while still trying to fix everything myself. Every time I tried to pray, my mind raced, the words wouldn’t come, and I felt even more distant. It became a cycle of exhaustion and silence.

But God never left. Even in my dryness, He kept drawing me back.

The turning point wasn’t dramatic; it was simple:
      “Return to the basics.”

      So;

      • I started with honest, short prayers, telling God exactly how I felt.

      • I anchored myself in scriptures about His nearness (Isaiah 41:10, Jeremiah 29:13).

      • I reintroduced worship intentionally, even when I didn’t feel anything.

      • I stayed consistent, not perfect.

      • I leaned into community instead of isolating.

Slowly, the heaviness lifted. God restored not just my ability to pray, but my desire to seek Him. Peace replaced anxiety; joy replaced the dryness.

Today, my prayer life is alive again, not because I tried harder, but because God met me in my surrender.

If you’re in a dry season, hear this clearly: your wilderness is not your destination. Return to the basics. Stay consistent. God is already working beneath the surface.

      He will restore you too.
