We’ve been deeply concerned about my younger brother’s academics for a while.

He is dyslexic, and as you know, written examinations in Nigeria can be a huge challenge for children like him. Recently, he had to sit for two Junior WAEC exams, one for the state government and another for the federal government. Passing at least one was the only way he could move on to Senior Secondary School.

If he failed both, he would have had to quit schooling completely and pick up a trade. Honestly, I thought learning a trade might be better for him, since dyslexics often thrive more in hands-on skills. But he was determined, he really wanted to continue his education.

While my faith wavered, I still encouraged him to pray and trust God. He took it seriously, prayed so much about it, and even went to church to ask his pastor to pray for him to pass that exam.

When the first result came out, he failed, and it felt like our last hope rested on the second one. Then, on Monday, the second result was released and to our amazement, his performance was not just good but excellent. Far beyond what we imagined!

All I can say is: God is faithful. 🙌
I praise Him for His mercy and for proving Himself strong on my brother’s behalf.
