I thought of movies that have stirred up godly emotions in me. So I finally finished a long series called Greenleaf on Netflix- an intriguing soap opera of a Pastor Greenleaf,his family,church with serious problems. What captured my attention through this was that despite his failures he kept his faith and owned up to it. The breaking point for me was at the end how his grandson who struggled with low self esteem, rejection, HIV and even attempted suicide, accepted Jesus, this brought tears to my eyes. The soap has some areas I don’t totally agree with but overall, I think its an inspiring series.
