What does Christmas mean to you?
Glad to be able to share this platform with you again. I missed the discussions and I look forward to full restoration of strength this season.
It is barely 6 days to Christmas and the air is already saturated with lovely Christmas tunes and fragrance. Bright and merry lights, extravagant decorations, everyone looking beautiful on the backdrop of the cold winter snow, gifts and good wishes everywhere. I think everyone would look forward to such a season irrespective of faith or creed. I can’t help but wonder, why Christmas? Really! What is this all about?
This week, I look forward to sharing with you what Christmas means to me and I will be glad to hear you share what Christmas signifies to you too.

Great question and reflection Pst. Michael. We most time get carry away from all these beautiful worldly things that are perishable like those you mentioned light, decoration, gifts, Santa, food and all. That at the end we forget the real reason for the season. Christ Jesus is the reason for this season nothing else. It’s a day we need to remember that God with His loving kindness, gave us a Savior, remembring the birth of His only Son born to save humanity. A time where we need to be grateful, thankful, reflect on where we were before and after the coming of Christ
. Have you imagined what would your life will have been without Christ? Not sure we will even be here. Let us take this time to share the true reason of this season to our children and loved ones and be thankful as we celebrate Christmas.

Thanks @btchanque for the reminder. So true. I know without Christ I would probably be depressed right now without any hope of a bright future and trying to fill up the space with material things. Thank God for the gift of Jesus Christ, I live because He lives.
