Absolutely! Discipline and understanding ‘why’ what must be done will give us the required energy to press on when we don’t feel like it or not in the mood. Being deliberate is the way to stay above the systems of the world.
When we live our lives in such a way that onlookers admire the virtues we portray and want to be like us, evangelism becomes a walkover. It’s absolutely important that we live in peace with one another (Romans 14:19) and live to edify others through our conduct.
Very true Pastor Ukeme, total submission to God brings us into a deeper experience with him and with guarantee. It reminds me of the assurance in John 11:25-26 that though we die we live, but everyone who lives in Christ will never die. That’s like your analogy of a seed that falls to the ground, it literally dies in the ground but that was just a life stage because it’s springs back up into a tree of multiple seeds
2Peter 1:19 – a sure word of prophecy must be held unto until its evidence is seen no matter how long it takes. It’s like a current through a live wire that keeps the stove hot until the meal is properly cooked. When adverse circumstances show up, these words should keep us going knowing too well that they will surely fulfil the purpose for which they came.
We speak healing over Vidya’s mom. Lord, let our sister’s mom recover totally and speedily. Amen.
