“Faithful with Little, Entrusted with More” Activity
In this reference from Luke 16:10, where Jesus teaches that those who are trustworthy in small matters will also be trustworthy with greater responsibilities. It reminds us that God observes how we handle the little things in our lives—our time, resources, words, and actions. When we prove faithful in small ways, God entrusts us with more, deepening our spiritual growth and impact. This journal will help you practice daily faithfulness, strengthening your relationship with God and preparing you for greater things in His kingdom.
Objective:
This activity is designed to help participants develop faithfulness in small, daily commitments to God, reinforcing that consistency in the little things leads to greater spiritual growth and responsibility.
How It Works:
- Daily Faithfulness Journal (7-Day Challenge)
- Each participant will receive (or create) a Faithfulness Journal to track small, daily acts of obedience, discipline, and trust in God.
- Examples of small things to be faithful in:
- Spending 10 minutes in prayer daily.
- Reading one chapter of the Bible each day.
- Encouraging or praying for someone.
- Giving thanks for at least three things daily.
- Avoiding negative speech (complaints, gossip, etc.).
- Accountability Partner
- Each participant pairs up with an accountability partner to check in daily and encourage faithfulness in their commitments.
- They can send each other a quick text, voice note, or call to ask: “How were you faithful today?”
- Testimony & Reflection (End of the Week)
- At the end of seven days, participants gather (physically or virtually) to share:
- What they learned about faithfulness.
- Any struggles they faced.
- How they saw God entrust them with more as they remained faithful in the small things.
Takeaway Message:
By being faithful in small daily practices, we build a deeper relationship with God and position ourselves for greater spiritual responsibility. As we prove trustworthy in little, God entrusts us with more!
