Prayer For The Family
I am moved this morning to pray for our families and our marriages that God will preserve us from the satanic attacks against marriages and families and keep us in the bond of peace. Join me in praying for yourself too.
Heavenly Father,
We are before You with hearts full of gratitude for the gift of family and the sacred bond of marriage. I thank you for the gift of my spouse. All good and perfect gifts come from you.
I ask that You strengthen the love and unity within our homes. May we love each other unconditionally, living in peace and harmony.
We receive the grace to forgive freely, not allowing any root of bitterness, anger, hatred or malice to take hold in our hearts. Help us to be patient with each other’s faults and to find the strength to correct our own.
May our partnership and purpose grow and flourish like trees planted by the rivers of Your love, bearing the fruits of righteousness, peace, joy, and prosperity. We receive empowerment by your Holy Spirit to stand together as one, resisting any attacks and temptations against our families.
We receive clarity to guide our children in the right way, teaching them Your truths. Let our families be a shining light in the midst of this dark world, reflecting Your love and grace.
May our union not be a distraction to your purpose but a catalyst to fulfill all of Your plans for us.
