May 21: Divine Talk
Faith, unlike the fluctuating tides of positive thinking, anchors us in the eternal truth. “My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me” — John 10:27 (ESV). In this bustling world, voices surround and overwhelm us. The lures of self-motivation or the charm of optimism may seem comforting, but they are like houses built on sand. Only God’s divine conversation shapes our steps and molds our destinies. Bible scriptures serve as our roadmap, assuring us that divine talk, filled with His promises and truth, transforms life’s reality, unlike mere positive affirmations. The world may encourage you to speak into existence what you desire. But the divine narrative calls us to receive and act upon God’s Word and promise. He speaks, we listen, and in this exchange, faith is forged. True faith springs not from our own declarations, but from God’s mouth, bringing forth a reality that alters our path and actions, like the unseen roots of a mighty oak drawing strength from deep waters unseen, grounding us firmly even amid life’s storms.

Scripture: “By faith we understand that the universe was created by the word of God, so that what is seen was not made out of things that are visible.” — Hebrews 11:3 (ESV)
