In my humble opinion,
I think we take that for granted. Assuming you are false God (pretending to be God) who gets the most credit without reflecting and thanking real someone who helped you in the first place. It is like thanking yourself credit on homework assignments and not want to thank someone credit, because he did all the work for you. As for myself, I am sure all of you can relate to this situation.
How that applies to the topic “unthankful” is, I hope we can all be mindful and thankful for God who has helped us along the way. The one who also gets a credit.
True Minkee, I agree, when we stop giving thanks we become stubborn and rebellious.
