Selected Bible Passage: Acts 3:6 (NIV) – “Then Peter said, ‘Silver or gold I do not have, but what I do have I give you. In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, walk.’”

    Reflection:

    Message:
Today’s scripture recounts the moment when Peter and John encounter a beggar at the temple gate. Lacking material riches, Peter offers what he possesses—the name and power of Jesus Christ. This miraculous gift transcends any monetary contribution, showcasing that our influence in God’s kingdom involves more than financial assets. The reality is, we all possess unique offerings—our faith, prayers, words, and deeds—that can profoundly impact those around us.

    Key Points:
    1. True Wealth: The kingdom’s most profound resources are not material but spiritual, including faith, love, and empowerment through Christ.
    2. Offering What We Have: God uses even what we perceive as small or ordinary in extraordinary ways when surrendered to Him.
    3. Miraculous Transformation: We are conduits for God’s power that changes lives, sometimes in unexpected or non-material ways.

    Personal Reflection Questions:
    – What non-financial gifts do I possess that I can offer to God for His purposes?
    – How can I trust God to use my skills and talents to profoundly impact others?
    – Where do I see opportunities for spiritual generosity in my daily interactions?

    Prayer:

    Guided Prayer:
Lord, thank You for empowering me with resources beyond what money can buy. Teach me to recognize and utilize my unique gifts for Your glory. Fill me with the desire to serve others and reflect Your love, trusting that what I have is enough when placed in Your hands. Amen.

    Personal Prayer Points:
    – Commit to recognizing and valuing non-monetary gifts.
    – Pray for opportunities to use these gifts for the kingdom’s impact.
    – Seek God’s guidance in discovering new ways to offer what He’s given you.

    Action Steps:

    Practical Application Tips:
Gift Inventory: List out your skills, talents, and spiritual gifts that aren’t tied to finances and seek ways to use them for kingdom impact.
Share Your Faith: Offer words of encouragement or share personal stories of faith as a testimony to others.
Acts of Service: Find small ways to serve others within your community using the talents you have.

    Daily Challenges or Activities:
Intentional Encouragement: Reach out to someone in need of hope and offer them your support and prayers.
Skill-Based Volunteering: Volunteer your time and expertise to a community project or church initiative that could benefit from your talents.
Prayer Outreach: Spend time praying for someone you’ve impacted, believing that your prayers activate God’s purpose in their life.

Our wealth in the kingdom is marked not by currency but by the grace and gifts God bestows upon us. When shared with a heart to serve and glorify Him, even our modest contributions multiply in reach and impact beyond our imagination.

Inspiring perspective. Financial giving very important but there are things money cannot buy. Knowing we have more to give is liberating.
