August 5: Why God Tests You
God never tests you to learn new information about you. He doesn’t need to “test” to find out something new because He already knows it all. Rather, He is trying to show you something about you to make you more self-assured and confident as you go forward to do His will.

Quite insightful. I feel comforted to know that God is not testing me to prove anything to Himself but for my own good so I can be confident in my abilities and knowlege of who I am. You never know what you are capable of until you go through the test. Then you can be bold about your resilience.
