August 12: Pleasing the Lord Above All Else
We must make sure our first goal is to please God, even when it means that what we’re doing with our lives might not please everyone around us. Our highest aim should be to fulfill His purposes for our lives and to make as many inroads as possible into people’s hearts with the truth of the Gospel and the love of God as we go through each day.

I believe that living a righteous life and a constant communication with our Heavenly Father pleases Him!
Oftentimes, we want some kind of validation from people about the vision or instruction God has placed in our hearts and we get discouraged or doubtful if they don’t seem to align with us. But God will often call us to walk alone with Him so we can trust and commit to Him wholly. As we submit to Him, He accomplishes more than we ever imagined through us.
