October 8: A Father’s Bad Influence
If you know a father who is leading his children astray by a wrong example, pray for him to change. God can change even the hardest heart. And if you are a father or mother of this next generation, make it a matter of serious prayer and determine to wake up to the awesome responsibility God has charged you with to lead and provide a godly influence for your children and the younger generations in your life.

Kingdom Explorer Lord we pray that you will give parents and parents to be the wisdom to lead their children in the right way, in your divine ways that they should never depart from it. we refuse to be the ones to lead our children astray and in rebellion against what you expect from us to teach them. may your Grace and Wisdom rest upon all the parents.

While it is our responsibility to raise our children whom we brought out into this world, it is still God who can help us, if we invite Him to. we ought to Pray throughout the process of raising the child/children to be reverently fearful of God. At the same time, we shouldn’t forget to be grateful to God for blessing us with children. Also, we should teach our child/ children how to pray and educate him/her on the value of prayer. Also we should make it a point to bring God into our conversations. And Let the child know that God is always present in our lives, even if He cannot be seen.
We should also make the child understand that he/she is a member of the Church, the body of God. It is best to introduce the child to the ways of the Church so that he/she can learn to appreciate and understand them early on. In all I pray that God gives us the strength and courage to do all these in Jesus name Amen.
