August 23: Standing Firm Against Opposition

In a world filled with turmoil and spiritual opposition, we are called to stand firm in God’s strength. Though the world may offer fleeting solutions and false hopes, as believers, we are clothed in the armor of God to withstand the attacks of the enemy. Ephesians 6:10-18 reminds us to put on the whole armor of God – truth, righteousness, faith, salvation, and the Word of God – to withstand the schemes of the devil. When we recognize the spiritual battle at play, we can stand firm in the victory that Christ has already won for us.While the world encourages self-sufficiency and reliance on our own strength, the kingdom principle teaches us to depend fully on God. Our strength is not in ourselves but in the Lord and the power of His might. By immersing ourselves in prayer, standing on the foundation of God’s truth, and living out our faith in practical ways, we can withstand any opposition that comes our way.
