July 15: Honoring the Family of Faith

In a world that often celebrates individualism and self-reliance, the Kingdom of God calls us to honor and cherish the family of faith. Ephesians 4:1-3 reminds us to walk in a manner worthy of the calling we have received, with all humility and gentleness, bearing with one another in love, eager to maintain the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. This means valuing community over isolation and honoring the diversity of gifts and backgrounds within the body of Christ. While the world may promote competition and self-promotion, God’s kingdom thrives on unity and mutual support. When we embrace humility, we create space for God to work powerfully in and through our relationships. Just as Christ sacrificed Himself for the unity of the Church, we are called to preserve this unity through our attitudes, words, and actions.
