How Can I Be Sure That I Am Saved?
Your salvation comes through your belief in the word of God as written in the Bible. This is called faith. It does not rely on your senses of sight, sound, touch, or feelings. Faith believes that God cannot lie. He means what He says, and therefore, we can trust His Word as written in the Bible.
Romans 10:13 states: “For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” John 3:36a says, “Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life.” Furthermore, 1 John 5:11-12 explicitly declares: “And this is the testimony: that God has given us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have the Son of God does not have life.” Romans 10:9 (NIV) emphasizes, “If you declare with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.”
Have you confessed the Lordship of Jesus? Do you believe that God raised Jesus from the dead? If your answer is yes, then you are saved! You don’t need your feelings to validate this. Your faith in God’s Word is enough. Embrace your salvation with confidence. Agree with God knowing His promises are true and God cannot lie.
