What words have been spoken over you that you know are legitimate words from the Lord? Has life tried to seize them away from you? In order for those words to come to fulfillment, it will require you to hold fast to them — because the devil and the cares of this life have a way of trying to steal the words God has spoken over your life.

The word of God is a tangible matter that we can hold unto. Till today, I still feel the words the Lord had spoken to me 20 years ago as if it was just yesterday. His word is so real. His word is powerful!
This word reminds me of what Apostle John spoke about in 1John 1:1 – That which was from the beginning….which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled of the Word of life. meaning the Word is actually tangible and can be handled or held onto. The more we meditate on the words of prophecy, the more tangible they become as they come to reality. But we have to play part by seizing the word and not letting circumstances make us let go.
2Peter 1:19 – a sure word of prophecy must be held unto until its evidence is seen no matter how long it takes. It’s like a current through a live wire that keeps the stove hot until the meal is properly cooked. When adverse circumstances show up, these words should keep us going knowing too well that they will surely fulfil the purpose for which they came.
Absolutely, when we stand firm in the word of God! Satan can’t steal the word, the promises, the blessings, the miracles, the opportunities, the divine appointments from us which were given by our Lord! ??
